Intra Oral Cameras
Connected to a computer monitor, the intra oral camera provides a close-up view inside your own mouth. The images can also be printed and shared with specialists and insurance companies. The intra oral camera allows you to be an active partner in your dental treatment by enabling you to see what we see. An intra oral camera is another aid to help you make treatment decisions with confidence.

Digital X-Rays
Digital x-rays use computerized equipment and software to capture x-ray images of your mouth and teeth. Digital x-rays have many advantages over traditional x-rays:

  • They are safer because they use up to 80% less radiation.
  • They are faster, allowing us to view the images instantly.
  • Digital images can be enhanced to improve viewing, and the images can be stored electronically.
  • With digital radiography we can offer you faster and safer diagnosis and dental treatment.

Diagnodent Laser Cavity Detection
The Diagnodent uses laser technology that scans your teeth with harmless pulses of light. When a cavity is present, fluorescent light of a different wavelength bounces back to the sensor, which translates it into a digital number and audio signal. Diagnodent has the advantage of detecting cavities in the early stages.

dental-technologyDigital Panoramic X-Ray
A panoramic x-ray gives a comprehensive view of the mouth, including the teeth, jawbone, joints, and sinuses. These x-rays provide valuable information, including the position of wisdom teeth, bone levels relating to periodontal health, abscesses, and oral pathology. Digital x-ray units are so sensitive that the amount of x-ray radiation is reduced by up to 80% less than conventional x-rays.

Kerr Sonic Fill
Sonic fill is a sonic-activated, posterior composite filling material that reacts to sonic energy. The sonic energy is applied through a specially designed handpiece that increases the composite’s ability to flow, enabling even greater adaption to the cavity walls.
